I meet my Songwriting Partner today
I'm noting this day as the day my songwriting career really begins. I met with my new partner today at a coffee shop to discuss a songwriting partnership. We shared much, we talked music. I even showed her music to a new song I wrote this morning to commemorate this meeting. It will be the first song we work on...the synchronicity is so strong. She is a fabulous top line talent; kind, and engaging. I felt like a met an old friend. God/Universe just smiled on me today.

Joined NSAI
After getting settled in, I joined Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). I went to a workshop hosted by NSAI that night. They were gracious, and informative. I so appreciate the fact these organizations exist. I look forward to spending time with them, and the members. You know it's good when you're talking with fellow songwriters and musicians long after the event had ended, and we still talked in the parking for another 45 minutes. I just happen to have ca

Music City Networking @ HOME
My first networking event at HOME (Helping Our Music Evolve) 615 Main Street, Nashville, TN 37206 on 4/29/2026 was a great first step. I heard the Nashville music community was different. I believe it. From the minute I stepped through the door, I did feel at home. I felt like I was with my people. A long chain of many ongoing conversations ensued. It was great to meet and talk, get to know the many people that attended. It really exceeded my expectations and will st
